Affinity by J.N. Williamson
Quent Wilcox is a perfectly normal young man. He lives in Indiana with his aunt and uncle and plays basketball on his college team. Pretty ordinary. Or at least that's what he used to think. Now he's not so sure. Lately he's had some very disturbing nightmares, though he can't quite remember them when he wakes up. And that's not all he's forgotten. He keeps stumbling across huge gaps in his memory - like what happened to his parents, and did he ever have a girlfriend?

What's happening to Quent isn't simple amnesia. He's not only losing his memory, he's gaining someone else's. But whose? What starts as a young man's identify crisis soon turns much more horrifying as Quent finds that with his new memories come strange, unearthly powers...and grave danger. His bizarre abilities will open the door to conspiracy and lies, to nature and what lies beyond, to the power of the mind - and the darkness of the soul.
