Halloween Sweets by Michael Leonberger
Freaks. That's what the other kids think Rachel and Marta are. Witches. Two teenage outcasts who don't fit in anywhere.

Then Rachel reveals her strange gift: she can reanimate the dead with her thoughts alone. It begins innocently enough: she can bring back snuffed house pets, rejuvenate dead flowers, and even whip up the bodies in the morgue to join her in an impromptu dance party.

It becomes less innocent when Rachel sends a walking corpse after the bullies who have terrorized the two girls at school. Less innocent still when she brings back the wrong body. A body buried with plenty of secrets that most people in town don't want unearthed.

Secrets far darker than Rachel's own, that threaten to plunge the town of Winston into the deadliest Halloween it's ever known...
