This third volume follows the adventures of Lusiphur in Amrahly'nn, as our hero deals with the aftermath of the three wishes granted him by the d'jinni Anhikiahl. First, the 17th War Duke from the Elvin Highlands hunts down Lusiphur to retrieve Cinlach, the enchanted sword Lusiphur obtained as his first wish. Then, Lusiphur battles the elvin wizard Tenth in an outrageous game of "cat and mouse"-literally. From there, Lusiphur delves into the depths of his mind (again, literally) to stop an otherworldly being known as an E'jja from stealing his soul.
