Giving Up The Ghost by Dan Dillard
Introducing Gerry Sheffield. He drinks, uses drugs, and treats women like trash. All these things can't fill up the gaping hole where his soul should be. His parents are elderly, and Bill and Margo Sheffield have had enough of their son's irresponsible and sometimes illegal crap. They have decided that the only way to help Gerry...is to haunt him. This is a novel of paranormal revenge with just enough comedy to dull its harsh, black edge. Gerry is one nasty character with no shame. Sometimes tough love isn't enough, but as ghosts, maybe Bill and Margo can scare him straight, or worse.
