The owner of Barker Steel Mill has died. The coroner says natural causes, but the tearful widow is convinced otherwise and the Mill has a Phantom that has been held responsible for accidents and deaths dating back to 1912.
With Amanda’s assistance, he embarks on a quest to uncover the secret behind the cloaked figure, but is anyone telling him the truth? The new owner – the handsome, athletic, multi-millionaire Brett Barker, is less than happy to have them poking around and seems a little bit too interested in Amanda for Tempest’s liking.
If his unspoken feelings for Amanda were not enough of a distraction, his mother wants him to organise a baby shower, the cute girl in the coffee shop is being abundantly clear about what she wants Tempest for, he needs to hire an office assistant and the Dachshunds are threatening rebellion if the treat quota does not improve.
