His grandmother’s heir, Kayla Blanton, is crazy about Billy, but he's a teacher in a school that has a morals clause, and her last job was in a topless club.

Kayla can communicate with the ghost, something Billy can't do himself. He needs her, but he can't let himself get too attached or he could lose his job. He's falling in love, but marriage is out of the question. He wants kids, and Kayla can't give him a baby.
