Deep in the North Florida woods, far from the modern world, a Doctor and his teenage daughter try to make a new home. What they find in the process is more than either had bargained for.
Dr. Jay Mendenhol is eager to take over his new practice. He’d had enough of the South florida corporate medical world and was looking forward to a quieter, more peaceful lifestyle.
Sarah Mendenhol, a precocious fifteen year old, was already missing Miami when the two moved into their new home in River Town.
As a series of events transpire, both are caught in the middle of a divided community. Through persecution, trial and vindication the two stick together as they fight for what is right, and , in the end, their lives.
