The Cat's Out Of The Bag by Molly Milligan
Bron walks between the worlds, dodging the creatures of Celtic myth and magic. She'd rather be pottering in her garden and drinking tea, but when you've a Fated Mission, then you've a Fated Mission, and so here we are.

When she helps people at Samhain, she's not expecting to be asked to clear a man's name of murder. She wants to believe that he's innocent.

But then there's another suspicious death. These things shouldn't happen in the sleepy town of Llanfair and everyone's scared. The police do what they can, but Bron can go places that they can't - places where she encounters the looming presence of an otherworldly being, who decides he can claim her for his own.

Meanwhile, Maddie has a new boyfriend and he's just like Dean - but in a good way, and Dean the druid is not happy. Mad Aunt Dilys and Jemima the journalist are at loggerheads about Dilys's memoirs, and Horatio the vicar is upset about Samhain. He says he is going to "take his festival back" and that's got Bron worried.
Bron must gather all her friends around and work a type of magic that she has no experience of at all. And she needs the help of the person who might have been responsible for the murder...

If she can't stop the King of Shadows, who will be next?
