Flowers For Mrs Harris by Paul Gallico
Loving her employer's haute couture dresses, London cleaner Ada Harris decides to go to the Dior fashion house in Paris to buy one for herself.

Flowers for Mrs Harris was the title given to the first UK edition of Mrs 'Arris Goes To Paris, published by Michael Joseph, and the first Penguin paperback published in the same year, 1958. More recent UK editions have tended to use the American title.
