Bunin is one of the most brilliant Russian writers of the early 20th century. Although Bunin won the Nobel Prize for Literature, he is not well known in the West -- a shame given the elegance of his prose. This is a collection of nine stories by Ivan Bunin (1870-1953), written at different times.
