Devon got the ultimate job for her, but only through deceit. It wouldn't have been much of an issue except that she had been hired by a defense contractor. When they did find out the truth, Devon was facing prison time, or do exactly as they told her to do; becoming their loyal pawn. It wasn't such a bad deal it turned out, as she was given the opportunity of a life time. She met the love of her life on her amazing assignment, and planned a future together among the stars. Soon though destiny threw her a curve, and Devon wound up with a life that she didn't choose. Even though she resented the situation at first, she eventually grew to love her new life with her mate.
