Desmond is dead, and Iscah is to blame. At least that's what she and their friends believe. The devastation of the loss has nearly destroyed her, but a surprising invitation to a cabin changes everything. Nothing is quite as it appears though it strange from the beginning with a great auburn oak tree in the foyer, a fae in the desk, and a curse in the halls. Worse still there is a creature stalking them who feeds on grief.
Iscah must escape the cabin before the full moon passes, elude this monster, and...perhaps, if there's time, find some way to mend her bleeding heart.
