The universe is doomed. But there's an alien race that believes that with the right ingredients, they can stop that from happening. They believe they can alter the very fabric of reality, thereby avoiding the end of existence. Chris Mathers is a regular bozo in a loveless relationship, living a normal, bleak existence. Little does he know that he'll be chosen by the aliens to travel the stars. He'll get to meet alien life forms from all corners of the universe, fight fierce battles, and ultimately join the crew as they fend off attacker's hell bent on putting a stop to their grand experiment. But there's a catch: He's one of the ingredients they need.
