So, when Rukia is arrested and sentenced to death, Ichigo travels to the Soul Society to rescue her; and in the process uncovers a fiendish plot. But the conspirators escape and Ichigo returns to the world of the the living.
Now a Deputy Soul Reaper, Ichigo spends his days fighting Hollows.
