‘The Mysterious Island' - one of the most famous in the world literature novels written by the famous French writer Jules Verne.
After five union soldiers escape imprisonment by commandeering a hot air balloon, a great storm blows them haphazardly for days. Soon, they arrive in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. They appear on a desert island in the Southern Hemisphere but they are not going to despair. Eventually it appears that their skills are all they need there to survive in their adventure.
Will they discover the secret of the mysterious island?
The Mysterious Island is an Adventure Adventure, Science Fiction and Fantasy Best Seller novel by Jules Verne, published in 1874. The original edition, published by Hetzel, The Mysterious Island is a crossover sequel to another Jules Verne's famous Science Fiction Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and an Adventure In Search of the Castaways, though its themes are vastly different from those books. An early draft of the novel, initially rejected by Jules Verne's publisher and wholly reconceived before publication, was titled Shipwrecked Family: Marooned With Uncle Robinson, seen as indicating the influence of the novels Survival Robinson Crusoe, and The Swiss Family Robinson. Verne developed a similar theme in his later novel, Godfrey Morgan.
